The Mighty Moose is the 5k event affiliated with Kicks for Cancer in Concord. Our goal is to raise funds for ovarian cancer prevention, and the race is in honor of, Jenna Swaim, a Concord mother of three who passed away two years ago from the disease. This is our 3rd annual 5k and we're planning to raise over 200k for our cause. We've had over 1,200 participants in each of the last 2 years.
This year our race is going to be virtual and will take place Sept. 27 through Oct. 11. The registration site link is https://www.mightymoose5k.org/ . Because our race will be virtual, we won’t have the opportunity to sell our signature Nike race hat @ CCHS at Kicks for Cancer on race day.
